Handchains are the newest addition to the Exo31 Art jewelry line. This particular Rose Handchain's parts come from a broken necklace. It's light and can be dressed up or down. They wrist portion is made to be adjustable so it fits almost any wrist!

It's been about a month that I have posted here. And in the last post I was thinking about how I could combine both of my blogs. Well...I've decided to keep the 2 separate. I've decided that some want to read and some don't. Some want to see pictures of my work and buy, and some want to know about my journey. The 2 blogs will work in conjunction with each other, but cater to different audiences.

If you are not satisfied with your jewelry, you may return it for an exchange or credit ONLY. Any item purchased at a retailer other than Exo31 Art, LLC cannot be returned to Exo31 Art, LLC for an exchange or credit. Please contact the retailer your items were purchased from.

• Your exchange or credit must be requested within 7 calendar days of receiving it. Please notify us via email (exo31art@gmail.com) before the return.  Your package must be postmarked within 7 calendar days of receiving it.
• Jewelry must be its original, new, unworn, and undamaged condition to be eligible for exchange or credit. 
• All return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility and cannot be refunded. Please return jewelry in its original package. Time Flies

Thought For The Day:

The last time I posted I only a few days before my art show. The art show was a success. My screen earrings and unisex bracelets were a hit, I managed to sell a painting, and get a few commissions.  All in all, the networking opportunities were priceless. I got the chance to meet tons of people who were sincerely interested in the arts, and more specifically...my artwork!

In the last post I mentioned that I was doing a good job at keeping up with both of my blog sites. Well...the time lapse doesn't lie. It has been a bit more difficult than I previously thought that it would be. Now I am looking into rolling both sites into one. I originally wanted to keep them separate since I am selling on this one, and really talking about my journey on the other. However, I am about to get my website together. That way everything will be in more of a central place. 

On The Work Desk:

Since the show, I have been busy continuing to form relationships with fellow artists and those that love art. I have been creating stretchers from scratch and coming up with new concepts for jewelry.

These earrings happen to be one concept that I am developing. It has a lot to do with iconic symbols in our society today.

Thought For The Day:
I've been maintaining two blogs for almost a month now. I wasn't sure if I could do it, but I have been doing a pretty good job at keeping up. Now I have been posting more in the One Artsy Gals Voyage spot because I have been preparing for my upcoming show.

I have been struggling, and wondering if I actually needed to keep both blogs going. I mean, I have had this one for years in order to get what I do out there. Somewhere along the lines it changed into a place where I could show and sell more of my jewelry. I like the direction that it has taken, but still wonder how reader friendly it is.

Just a thought, and no...this blog is not going anywhere. Every once in a while I believe that we have to evaluate what it is that we are doing. That is exactly what this post is about...evaluating a few things. I will blog here until I feel led not to. I don't foresee that happening any time soon!

On My Work Desk:
Well of course I am preparing for my art showing. It is a very busy season, but an exciting season. I had a hard time deciding whether or not I was going to sell my jewelry at the art show. I've decided that I will have a few of my jewelry pieces there to see also.

I hope to see you all on Saturday, August 10th at the Factory in Collingswood, NJ. I will be showing with other artists from 6pm to 10pm. Looking forward to it!

Thoughts For The Day:
Things have been super crazy these days. I recently pulled up the carpet in my room, and did a bit of aesthetic revamping. It was hard work, my arm was pulled a little, but I more than like the end results. I would dare to say that I love the end results. Shhh...don't tell my mother!

In the midst of all that has been going on, time has been my best friend, and my worst enemy. I've been searching for ways to make time work for me. I want time to be my right hand dude, my sidekick, my jawn (for my urbanites)! I've come to understand that having a to do list helps, but time blocking is necessary too.

What does time blocking look like? It looks like I take the time to block out each moment of my day for the most part. It doesn't mean that I never deviate from the program, but it does mean that I have a program to deviate from if need be. I'm such a "spur of the moment" type of girl, and this habit that I am working on forming may put a bit of a wrinkle in my style. I've never been one that likes to iron, so I'll take the time to do the work on the front end and plan accordingly.

Thought For The Day:
I've been a woman that has worked alone for so long. I've been told by family and friends alike that I am super independent. I almost hate to admit this, but they would be correct. I believe I am independent partly because I had/need to be, and partly because of pride (probably most of the later). It's not something that I am proud of, but definitely true.

Well I am turning over lots of new leaves, and one is learning how to collaborate. The reality is, I need others to make my life go in all sorts of areas. Now is the time to start exercising the power of banning together with others with similar ideas, passions and purposes to do great things.
